DEPOT AFTER DARK Update
Hi Artist and Art supporters
DEPOT AFTER DARK, this is a new event for Perris and it is the beginning of holding evening events. we can soon take the train from Perris to Downtown LA, Ontario etc.
NOV 13 OUTSIDE PATIO EVENT
SET UP: 4 TO 5 PM
BREAK DOWN: AFTER 10PM
EVENT TIME: 6 TO 10P
ELECTRICITY: YES
TABLES, CHAIR: BRING YOUR OWN
POP UP: BRING YOUR OWN WILL BE REQUIRED FOR LARGER DISPLAYS OUTSIDE
NOTE: There is a small inside room that can possibly hold 5 artist, they are hoping to get live artist painting
Artists can set up and show FREE this first time out. There is a $10 cover charge to the public for the music and it is a fundraiser for PVHM. (Perris Valley Historic Museum)A canopy is suggested because of the night air. If some art is too sensitive to damp air, they could possibly use part of the ‘waiting room’ to display. I’d say 5 artists is a good amount with the room we have, but we can make more work, absolutely. Depends on the size of their work. Live painting is always a welcome sight. We have a coffee and tea vendor and Tarasco will handle the food. We have seating for about 60 so it’s suggested to bring a chair. It’s the first time the depot has ever been used at night, so we are winging this first one.
OH! Metrolink is now running test trains and is full service on December 12th. The BIG DAY is December 11th. PLEASE come to that historic event. That is when some of the art on the rails ideas can finally come out to play:)

2015 Dia De Los Muertos Festival Lake Elsinore ~ November 1st
We are currently working on the 2015 Dia De Los Muertos Festival. Our plans are coming to fruition and this years November 1st event will be even bigger and better than last year.
We are still accepting vendors for the festival that sell hand made arts and items and preferably theme related. Please contact Rebecca at 951-506-3606 or rebecca@studio395.org if you would like to get on the early list as a vendor.
If you would like to help out we need volunteers for the planning/organizing before, during and after the festival. If you have experience with community event planning or have ever had an interest, we will need assistance. Responsibilities will run the gamut and we can find a place for you to fit in for as much or as little involvement as you can manage. Again, please contact Rebecca as noted above.

Noche de Los Muertos - Studio 395 Call For Artists
This
is a Call for Artist for a juried show August 15th during our 3rd Saturday
Live Art and Music Event. The selected piece will be used for all
advertising for the Noche de Los Muertos event Oct 3rd. This is designed as a fundraiser type event
for the Dia De Los Muertos festival and celebration Nov 1st. This event was created in 2012 by STUDIO 395
and the Lake Elsinore Downtown Merchants.
The City of Lake Elsinore joined in as a sponsor in 2013 and 2014 the
Chamber of Commerce, Modela, La Unica, Cardenas and others donated as sponsors. 2015 we are adding the Noche de Los Muertos
event.
The
Dia De Los Muertos event had an attendance of over 3,000 in 2014. This is
a great opportunity for the selected artist to gain exposure.
At
selection, the artwork will be purchased from the artist, for $300.00 including
all rights. The selected piece will then be reproduced into prints and
packaged for our silent auction fundraiser October 3rd. The original
will be sold during our live auction and a percentage of the proceeds will
be given to the artist.
PROSPECTUS:
The theme of the show is Dia de Los
Muertos.
