ArtsConnection is an outreach of The Theater Foundation which sends over 4,000 students a year on no-cost field trips. ArtsConnection believes that every student deserves a well-rounded education that includes the arts.

Mighty Mini Masterpieces Art Show & Fundraiser @ The Merc 42051 Main St, Temecula CA DONATION GUIDELINES Please RSVP your intent to submit by March 15, 2018. DISPLAY DATES The Entire Month of April Wed 2- 6pm, Thur 2 - 9pm, Sat 12 - 9pm, Sun 12 - 5pm Artists Receptions: Artists encouraged to bring guests. Fridays: April 6, 13, 20, & 27, 7 - 9 pm Artwork Criteria o All Artwork must be a donation & family friendly. o Each completed piece must measure no more than 6 inches tall, wide, or deep. This INCLUDES the framing, mounting, or display mounts. A 6 inch piece with a 7 inch frame is over the 6 inch maximum. o Media may be any traditional or non-traditional materials as long as the finished/displayable artwork (including all frames and display materials) fits within a 6 inch by 6 inch by 6 inch space. Original works only: prints of larger original pieces will not be accepted. Please call with questions. o Each piece must be and ready to hang (wire or hanging hardware on the back) or sit Artist must provide pedestal. o Please attach completed tag(s) to the back of your art. o Deliver to: Temecula Valley Museum 28314 Mercedes Street, Temecula, CA 92590 (between March 12th and March 25th) Museum Hours: Tuesday-Sat, 10am-4pm. JDS Creative Academy (JDSCA) Joins the Global #GivingTuesday Movement

JDS Creative Academy (JDSCA) Joins the Global #GivingTuesday Movement, JDSCA is raising money to better their visual and performing arts programs and be able to provide scholarships to those who are unable to affords classes in the arts.  2015:  December 1, #GivingTuesday is held annually on the Tuesday after Thanksgiving (in the U.S.) and the widely recognized shopping events Black Friday and Cyber Monday to kick- off the holiday giving season and inspire people to collaborate in improving their local communities and to give back in impactful ways to the charities and causes they support. JOIN STUDIO 395 IN SUPPORTING THIS CAMPAIGN OF GIVING!!

WRITER'S STUDIO MEETUP!! The Studio 395 "Writers Studio" will have its next meeting at 6:30 pm on Tues., December 8. It will be at the "Creative Insanity" studio, 27309 Jefferson Ave., #102, in Temecula (just north of the intersection of Winchester and Jefferson). There will be a presentation,"Creating Quirky Characters," given by Robert and Darrin McGraw, authors of the Animal Future series. We are Rocking Around the Decades from the 1950's - 1990's Classic's. Pop, Rock, Funk, Motown, Blues, R & B From Sinatra to the hits of today. CALL TO ARTISTS! We have made some small changes to the time schedule and we are allowing all entries to stay in the show.  No one will be juried out!!  Please read your Prospectus carefully, it is going to be a fun, but busy day.  Here is the final version. Event Dates: 8/7/2015 - 8/7/2015 Reception: 8/7/2015 5pm - 9pm Location: Truax Building 9513038100 Corner of Second St. and Mercedes in Old Town Temecula Temecula California 92591 http://www.temeculavalleyartleague.com Prospectus for Temecula Art League Open Juried 2015 Art Show August 7, 2015  5:00 pm – 9:00 pm The Temecula Valley Art league open juried show will be at the Truax Building on the corner of Mercedes and Second street in Old Town. Load in for judging, judging, pick up for entries not juried into the show and the show will all be on the same day, at the Truax Building in Old Town, where all the First Friday events take place.  This is a First Friday event . Judging date:  August 7, 2015, take-in: 10am - 12pm, judging from 12pm - 2pm, pick up after judging time for art not juried into the show: 2:30pm - 4pm. JUDGE TO BE ANNOUNCED! You cannot be late for either one of these.  The judge will be starting at 12pm sharp and there will be no more entries accepted.  You must not be present for the judging. If you are not accepted you get a call after the judging to pickup your work.  TVAL will not be responsible for the condition of any piece left behind. Show will run from August 7, 5pm – 9pm. Your art is scheduled to be removed after the show ends that evening of August 7th, 2015!! Open to all 2D artists, Water Media, Mixed Media, Oils, Acrylics, Pastels, Ink, Photography and pencil are allowed. Sorry, there will be no 3D this year.  All artists must carry their own art insurance.  TVAL or its volunteers do not assume any responsibility for any loss whatsoever, however incurred.  Each artist will have to sign a release of liability and a short form with the information about the art  for the back of each painting, when registering for the show. Entry fee for members:  $25.00 for the first piece of art and $10.00 for each additional piece up to 3 entries.   Entry fee for non-members:  $30.00 for the first piece and $15.00 for each additional up to 3 entries. Art must be dry and ready to hang, no saw tooth hangers.   All art must be framed or canvas wrapped with painted sides.  Each painting must have the artists name, telephone number, name of piece, price and medium on the back right corner. Temecula Valley Art League gets 15% commission on any sales made during the show! All entries must be presented professionally for the show!!   Show only your best and good luck! No size limits on large paintings except to not bring in one that takes up a whole wall.  48” wide or smaller is a good size.
