DEPOT AFTER DARK Update

Hi Artist and Art supporters

DEPOT AFTER DARK, this is a new event for Perris and it is the beginning of  holding evening events.   we can soon take the train from Perris to Downtown LA, Ontario etc.

NOV 13 OUTSIDE PATIO EVENT
SET UP: 4 TO 5 PM
BREAK DOWN: AFTER 10PM
EVENT TIME: 6 TO 10P
ELECTRICITY: YES
TABLES, CHAIR: BRING YOUR OWN
POP UP: BRING YOUR OWN WILL BE REQUIRED FOR LARGER DISPLAYS OUTSIDE
NOTE: There is a small inside room that can possibly hold 5 artist, they are hoping to get live artist painting
Artists can set up and show FREE this first time out. There is a $10 cover charge to the public for the music and it is a fundraiser for PVHM. (Perris Valley Historic Museum)

A canopy is suggested because of the night air. If some art is too sensitive to damp air, they could possibly use part of the ‘waiting room’ to display. I’d say 5 artists is a good amount with the room we have, but we can make more work, absolutely. Depends on the size of their work. Live painting is always a welcome sight.

We have a coffee and tea vendor and Tarasco will handle the food. We have seating for about 60 so it’s suggested to bring a chair.
It’s the first time the depot has ever been used at night, so we are winging this first one.

OH! Metrolink is now running test trains and is full service on December 12th. The BIG DAY is December 11th. PLEASE come to that historic event. That is when some of the art on the rails ideas can finally come out to play:)

LIVE WELL PERRIS - APRIL 25, 2015

On Saturday April 25, in a park in Downtown Perris, Lisa Cabrera and Grace Sandlin had the pleasure of participating in a really great event.  It seemed to us that the City of Perris is dedicated to improving their community, one healthy child at a time.
There was a children’s walk/run event in the morning; this was a free day of engagement for their community.

Lisa Cabrera working on a community mural.

We worked with the Historic Museum to create a community painted mural that will be put on display somewhere.
Thanks to Cindy Chambers and her dedication to her community we brought a little color and crafts to the participants.  For the most part the folks we met were appreciative and the families were all enjoying this day.

The MetroLink Train is currently working on a new train stop (Perris Valley Line) that is scheduled for completion in late 2015. It will create an amazing transformation to have a train we can take from Perris to Riverside, Ontario and all the way to LA.

I hope to work with her more in the future.
