Hello Artists,
Thank you all so much for participating in this installment of our Focus On Local Exhibitions: A Look At Graffiti & Street Art! We are very pleased with the turn-out of artists who exhibited with us as well as that at the Art Social on Saturday, April 20th. Fine job all around!
The last day of this exhibit is Sunday, May 5th, 2019. Pick-up times for the work are May 6th through May 10th, from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM. If you need to make other arrangements, please let us know at (951) 471-4407.
We will be accepting artwork for the next exhibition, which is called ‘Dolls Through The Eyes Of Artists’. We will be taking in artwork starting Wednesday, May 1st through Tuesday May 7tt. On weekdays, take-in is from 11:00 AM to 6:00 PM and on weekends it is 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. If you have any questions, please contact us.
‘Dolls Through The Eyes Of Artists’ will be on display from Friday, May 10th to Monday, July 29th. This exhibition will examine how artists view dolls other than just as children’s toys and how they choose to define them, express what they think about them, their construction, function, or lack thereof. We have attached a prospectus for your convenience and review.
Thank you again and we look forward to seeing you at our future exhibitions.

We are currently working on the 2015 Dia De Los Muertos Festival.  Our plans are coming to fruition and  this years November 1st event will be even bigger and better than last year.

We are still accepting vendors for the festival that sell hand made arts and items and preferably theme related.  Please contact Rebecca at 951-506-3606 or rebecca@studio395.org if you would like to get on the early list as a vendor.

If you would like to help out we need volunteers for the planning/organizing before, during and after the festival.  If you have experience with community event planning or have ever had an interest, we will need assistance.  Responsibilities will run the gamut and we can find a place for you to fit in for as much or as little involvement as you can manage.  Again, please contact Rebecca as noted above.

LIVE WELL PERRIS - APRIL 25, 2015

On Saturday April 25, in a park in Downtown Perris, Lisa Cabrera and Grace Sandlin had the pleasure of participating in a really great event.  It seemed to us that the City of Perris is dedicated to improving their community, one healthy child at a time.
There was a children’s walk/run event in the morning; this was a free day of engagement for their community.

Lisa Cabrera working on a community mural.

We worked with the Historic Museum to create a community painted mural that will be put on display somewhere.
Thanks to Cindy Chambers and her dedication to her community we brought a little color and crafts to the participants.  For the most part the folks we met were appreciative and the families were all enjoying this day.

The MetroLink Train is currently working on a new train stop (Perris Valley Line) that is scheduled for completion in late 2015. It will create an amazing transformation to have a train we can take from Perris to Riverside, Ontario and all the way to LA.

I hope to work with her more in the future.
